To Book Appointments:

Our physicians see patients on an appointment basis. We do not accommodate walk-ins, but some of our physicians have same-day appointment slots available for urgent issues.
Most appointments are scheduled for 10-15 minutes. When booking, you will be asked the nature of your visit to allocate appropriate time. If you need a longer appointment, for a Complete Physical, Driver's Medical or Paperwork/Forms to be completed please notify the receptionist at the time of booking. You will also be asked who your primary family physician is as not all of our physicians are accepting new patients.
All physicians can complete yearly, drivers, college/university/school medicals etc.
Some services are NOT covered by Alberta Health Services. Please see the following list for Uninsured Medical Fees. Please discuss all forms and charges with your physician before having paperwork or services completed.
Our office has zero tolerance for staff abuse, persons in violation of this request may be discharged from the clinic.
Please notify the receptionist if your contact information has changed in any way, such as a new phone number, adding an additional contact number or change of address.
No Show Policy:
Please be advised there is a no-show policy in effect for missed appointments. To avoid the $30 no-show charge, please call at least ONE HOUR in advance.
New Patients:
Upon your first visit to the Hanna Medical Clinic, you will be asked to provide photo identification and your Alberta Health Care Card, or other valid provincial Health Care Card. Be sure to bring a list of all current medications, including herbal and vitamin supplements as well.
In accordance with the guidelines of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, narcotic medications will not be prescribed to patients until the physician receives a full pharmaceutical history from the previous family physician or Netcare.
