The clinic is operating it's regular daytime office hours, however, please CALL into the clinic to make an appointment. If you have any of the following: New or worsening cough, fever, headache, chills, new or worsening shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, sore throat, painful swallowing, stuffy or runny nose, muscle aches, joint pains, eye infection, altered mental status, nausea or diarrhea, and would like to be tested for COVID-19 please call 811. * If you are unable to travel to the nearest testing centre, please call into 811, and request a call back to book an appointment.

If you are coming into the clinic for any reason, please wear a mask. Staff and Physicians are masked for your protection. We kindly ask that unless necessary, please do not bring any other people with you for your appointment. Traffic flow in the clinic is being kept to a minimum.  If you are due for a screening mammogram, screening colonoscopy etc, please make an appointment with your physician to have this booked. Drivers Medicals are still being booked.

Everyone entering the clinic will be required to hand sanitize upon entry, be masked, asked the COVID-19 screening questions. Please answer these questions honestly; if you do answer yes to any of the questions, it does not mean that you won't be seen for medical care, it just ensures extra precautions can be taken to protect the health care workers and other patients. You have an option to print a copy and complete it at home before you appointment, just bring it with you and let the receptionist know you have the completed questionnaire when you check in for your appointment. **as of October 2,2020 Albertans, including parents and guardians have the option to register their children under 14, along with themselves for the MyHealth Records secure platform. This gives the user access to their health information including immunization and laboratory records. COVID-19 results can be accessed here, and printed if needed. (Please not some patients are experiencing delays to results being posted at this time) https://myhealth.alberta.ca/myhealthrecords

Physicians are available to be seen in person. Telephone prescription renewals with your physician can be booked, unless notified by your physician, nurse or medical assistant otherwise. If you do have to come into the clinic to be seen, arrive at your appointment time. We ask that you wait in your car, call into the clinic reception to check in for your appointment, Clinic staff will advise you when to come into the building, our reception area has been re-opened on a very limited capacity. When you are on the phone with reception, you will be asked the screening questions, this is required for everyone entering the building. If you don't have a cell phone, let our staff know, we will come get you in the parking lot for your appointment. The clinic staff are doing their best to stay on time, but know that the rooms get thoroughly cleaned between patients for your safety. Evening clinic has resumed, with Dr. Hanna only at this time but please note this is subject to cancellation.

Please do not present as a walk in patient to the hospital for laboratory. You must call ahead to the Rural Patient Appointment line at 1-833-572-0577, or book online at www.APLappointments.ca make an appointment. They will give you a time to go to the hospital for your testing. If you need help booking a laboratory appointment, we will gladly assist, please ask.

X-rays can now be done at the hospital by walk in service. However, please be aware that if it is busy, you may be asked to return at a different time.

Hospital Inpatient and Continuing Care visitation- Please contact the hospital directly to for the current status on visitors, as it is subject to change. All visitors undergo the mandatory screening and masking when entering the hospital. The Hanna Health Centre also kindly requests that if you are dropping off items for Continuing Care Residents, please do so during business hours 8am-4pm Monday to Friday when possible.

If you are over 60 please consider completing a "Goals of Care" (Green sleeve). This can be done by telephone consultation. Information on Goals of Care ("Green Sleeves") can be found at: https://www.albertahealthservices.ca/info/Page9909.aspx

The Doctors are dedicated to making sure you have the health care you need in the community at this time. We have several options available: In cases where it is safer for a patient to remain at home, a physician can provide a home visit. Criteria apply. Call the clinic to book, ask to speak to your physicians nurse/assistant and they can help you. Examples of this are : Cancer patients, immunosuppressed patients, at risk patients, small babies, single parent with multiple children that would have to bring everyone into the clinic with them.

As per Alberta Labour Standards employees are not required to produce sick notes at this time, if they have a respiratory illness, and need to self-isolate. Stay safe, practice good hand hygiene and physical-distancing. Self -isolate as required. Stay home whenever possible!
